- 150 g soft cream cheese (e.g., "Philadelphia")
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 50 g butter (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dough Preparation: Pour the yeast and 1 tbsp sugar into warm milk, stir, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar, salt, eggs, melted butter, and the yeast mixture to the flour. Knead the dough until soft and uniform. Cover and let rise for 1-1.5 hours.
- Filling Preparation: Mix softened butter with sugar and cinnamon.
- Rolling and Shaping: Roll the risen dough into a rectangle. Spread the filling evenly on top. Roll the dough and cut it into pieces about 4-5 cm wide.
- Baking: Place the rolls in a parchment-lined baking dish and let them rise again for 20 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
- Glaze Preparation: Whip softened butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Final Touch: Spread the glaze on the warm rolls.
